EXPERIENCE

LOCKER

This past semester as a College Ambassador for Locker has been an amazing experience that has allowed me to combine my love for fashion, creativity, and strategy. From managing my sorority Zeta Tau Alpha’s Locker account to creating inspiration posts for events, linking trending items, and curating shopping ideas, I’ve loved sharing how the app simplifies shopping in such a fun and organized way. A highlight was speaking at my sorority’s chapter meeting, where I shared the app’s features and my role in promoting Locker on Mizzou’s campus. This experience has pushed me to think creatively while staying organized and intentional in my approach. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with the Locker team and am excited to continue this role into the next semester, discovering even more ways to inspire and connect with others!

MATCHBOOK MARKETING AGENCEY

This past semester at Matchbook Marketing Agency has been an incredible experience that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. As a PR Specialist on the Internal PR team, I had the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, including organizing a LinkedIn workshop, working on Spark, and overseeing the Hotbox Cookies team to support a beloved local Columbia business. Each project challenged me to think strategically, collaborate creatively, and refine my communication skills. Reflecting on my time with Matchbook, I’m so grateful for the supportive team, the meaningful work, and the chance to make a positive impact. This experience has truly solidified my passion for marketing and strengthened my excitement for future opportunities in the field.

Director of Membership Enrichment

As the Director of Membership Enrichment for Zeta Tau Alpha, I play a key role in enhancing the member experience through a variety of initiatives. I oversee our chapter's Instagram, creating eye-catching graphics and engaging with members through posts and responses. I also plan and execute wellness events, collaborating with local businesses to offer unique opportunities for our members. By using creative strategies, I strive to ensure that each event and interaction fosters a positive impact on our members' well-being, helping them to have a fulfilling and enriching experience within our sisterhood.

Karrie Leung Public Relations Internship

This summer, I interned at KLPR, gaining hands-on experience in public relations and social media marketing. I helped create content, manage social media engagement, and collaborate with influencers to amplify client campaigns. I also supported event planning, coordinated photoshoots, and contributed to brainstorming creative strategies. Tracking analytics and seeing how data shapes campaigns gave me valuable insight into PR work. Overall, this internship helped me grow my creative and organizational skills while learning the inner workings of a PR agency.
